All about Email Marketing Strategy

Email is undoubtedly the most preferred channel of communication in terms of usability and consumer preference. Email marketing is supposed to be one of the most effective marketing strategies today.

Compared to the other marketing methods Email marketing has the following advantages:

High reach: Once you get people join in your Email list, you can reach them.

Great Flexibility: Irrespective of the kind of business that you are doing consultancy or sales, you can do it through Emails.

Least Risk: The cost included in Email marketing is much less compared to other methods.

Low Entry Barrier:  Though you are not an expert to begin with, you can achieve great results once you learn the right Email marketing strategies.

Give Control:  Unlike the other tactics which largely depend on policy changes, Email marketing is less affected by laws.

It is advisable to use three different email marketing strategies:

1.    Offers: While many businesses depend on offers to sell their products, it is significant to know how to make an offer effectively in your email. A good offer shouldn’t be pushy; instead it must sound helpful to the recipient.  Through your offer, you can give some great reasons for buying what you sell, as a friend of the recipient.  People are more likely to believe a sincere friendly advice than a pushy sales offer.

2.    Content: Content Email marketing is a brilliant tool that you can use regardless of what type of product or are offering.  Here you are creating an email as a ticket to enter into your content which is behind the information wall. You can also ask people to share more information o share o link in order to gain access to the content, which can be a report, video o article. If you use the content strategy efficiently, people will trust you  more and which can convert to more sales.

3.    Relationship Building: in this strategy, you can develop a relationship with your customer by sharing more information in the email than just the products. You can do so by sharing your opinions or views on matters that has no direct relationship with your business. Unless your email connects with your customer on a personal level, your email offers sound pushy and the matters of email remain distant.
You can depend on one strategy more than others, but it is better to use them combined.

Few Tips on Competitor Backlink Analysis

Competitor backlink analysis is an integral part of any link building campaign. Performing a backlink analysis on a competitor helps you to understand the industry and your competitors including their link profile, where they are ranked and their plans to achieve links. This analysis helps you to get through an initial research of the industry, to know the competition and to get a list of highly prospective links.

•    the total number of links
•     number of unique domains
•    List of anchor text terms and number of total links sing that text
•    Comparison of competitor sites by number of links, quality and anchor text
•    To understand competitor’s quality links that you don’t have

This is the simplest tool to start with which can give a comprehensive listing of links as a sample. This is the very fast and free of cost, but it only shows small fractions of links and it needs plugins and also doesn’t provide link quality data. Google webmaster tools give a way better analysis but it is available for your own data only.

This tool allows you to do comparisons with other sites and it has availability of anchor text analysis and export to excel functionality. But beyond 1000 links this tool is payable.

3.    Majestic SEO:

This provides extremely detailed analysis on links and turns this index into useful reports. Along with the earlier tool’s features it can drill down into links to specific pages and it allows both back link and domain link counts.

4.    Link Diagnosis:

While anchor text analysis and visibility of nofollow links are available in this, the disadvantage here is it works only in Firefox and you need plugins to view reports.

5.    Advanced link manager:

This tool does a lot more than link analysis where it can generate custom reports and email/download can be configure to run at specific intervals.

6.    Bing Webmaster Tools Link Explorer:
